Performing Opportunities at Dancenter North

Dancenter North's philosophy maintains that classroom time should be spent learning technique. Performing on a stage is the end product of hard work. Those who wish to show the results of their training on the stage have the following opportunities at Dancenter North:

Open Performances With No Audition:

DEFILE is our end of the year concert-graduation open to all dance students from pre-school through junior high age until the ninth grade. Presented in May at Carmel High School in Mundelein, this is a wonderful way for our students to present themselves in a comfortable setting with minmal costuming.

THE DCN SPRING MUSICALE is a musical concert featuring all of our Vocal Technique and Musical Theatre students and will be presented in May at Carmel High School.

THE SUMMER SHOW OF SHOWS is presented at the end of our Summer Session and is a presentation of our students from all of our special summer workshops at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan

Dancenter North has Performing Companies!

Students who have been studying diligently and are ready for even more of a challenge on the stage may want to audition to be in a Dancenter North performing company.
